There’s something about a good mystery that captivates almost every person that comes across it. Whether or not it’s because we think we can solve the mystery, we may never know. That being said, there are a ton of historical mysteries people would really like answers to. Below we take a look at a few of them, and who knows — maybe one of us will finally come up with the answer to these unsolved mysteries.
Jack the Ripper
In 1888, the streets of Whitechapel in London were a place of danger and mystery. A shadowy figure was walking the streets in the evening, taking the lives of some unfortunate women.

These murders were shocking, and after the final murder of Mary Jane Kelly, Jack the Ripper seemingly disappeared. For centuries, people have pondered who exactly Jack the Ripper was. There were several theories, including members of the royal family and even serial killers from across the pond, but no one has solved the mystery.
The Zodiac Killer
During the ’60s and ’70s, Northern California was on high alert. There had been five murders, and all of them had been attributed to the unidentified assailant known as the Zodiac Killer. This serial killer flaunted his evasion by sending cryptic notes to the media.

To this day, the Zodiac Killer has never been identified and arrested — though there are plenty of theories as to who this evil person was. In total, the authorities had more than 2500 suspects, but none of them could be proven without a shadow of a doubt to be the Zodiac Killer.
The Vatican Secret Archives
The Catholic Church and its religious base, the Vatican, have been around for centuries. There are plenty of mysteries related to both the Vatican and Catholicism, but maybe one of the most famous is the Vatican secret archives.

Within the halls of this secretive underground vault lies 12 centuries of material and artifacts that are only available to the highest authorities in the church. It’s rumored that these archives contain all kinds of interesting information, including the files on investigations into demonic possession.
Lost Roanoke Colony
In 1587, the Crown sent a group of British colonists to set up a settlement off the coast of North Carolina. These settlers were led by John White, who — not long after getting everyone settled — returned to England, leaving his family behind.

When he returned three years later, the colony that had been built on Roanoke was nowhere to be seen. The only thing left besides the buildings was a single word etched into a tree that read Croatoan. Where the colony went has been a mystery for centuries. Some of the theories include integration into the local tribe, and even alien abduction.
Dyatlov Pass
Though recently some Russian authorities have claimed to have solved this mystery, there’s still a lot of doubt about the actual solution laid out by these officials. In February of 1959, nine Russian skiers were found dead in the Ural mountains.

Their bodies were bare and showed immense traumatic injuries that couldn’t be explained by anything concrete. Some have talked about this being a supernatural attack, but the Russian government in 2019 said they determined that this was a death due to an avalanche. Who knows if that’s what really happened!
Amelia Earhart
Amelia Earhart was a pioneer of women in aviation and had flown quite a few record-breaking flights in her career. But in 1937, she set out to be the first woman to circumnavigate the world. Unfortunately, somewhere over the Pacific Ocean, she was lost and never to be found again.

Before going down, there were several messages between her and the coast guard ships. These messages were strange, talking about not being able to see and that her fuel was running low. After communication was lost, there was a 12-day search, but unfortunately, nothing was found. To this day, there are several theories about what happened, including her surviving and living into her old age, but nothing has ever been determined for sure.
The Princes in the Tower
In the 15th century (as well as before and after), the world of royalty was a cutthroat business. With everyone wanting to hold the crown, there were several coups perpetrated under the guise of protection.

In 1483, to protect Edward V’s sons, the Duke of Gloucester had Richard and Edward taken to the Tower of London. However, once they were there, they were never seen again as they were deemed illegitimate, and the Duke took the throne for himself. No one knows what happened to them, but in 1674, two skeletons of children were found and moved to Westminster Abbey for burial.
Stonehenge
In the center of a remote grassy field in England is a large stone circle that remains a mystery to the world. Stonehenge, which is constructed of about 50 stones — none of which are native to England — is laid out in a unique pattern.

Though there are many theories on what and who built Stonehenge, none of them have truly answered the mystery. Some feel these were Bronze Age people who were building a monument as a calendar to mark the movement of the sun and the moon. Others consider this a druidic spiritual location, and there are even some that attribute this iconic landmark to aliens.
The Mary Celeste
In November of 1872, Captain Benjamin S. Briggs navigated the Marie Celeste from the New York City port. The ship and its captain and crew were en route to Genoa, Italy.

But, just a month later, a British ship found the Marie Celeste with no crew onboard floating through the waters off the coast of Portugal. Supplies and food stores were all intact, but no one knows what happened to the captain, his family, and the seven crew members that sailed with them.
Destruction of the Library of Alexandria
In the ancient world, there were seven wonders that were spread throughout the known world. One of these was the famous library of Alexandria built by Ptolemy I. This library was rumored to house thousands of texts and other writings from all over the Mediterranean.

What really happened to the library is still a mystery. Some say that Julius Caesar burnt it to the ground, and others say that it survived that attack and lasted until Theodosius I came through and destroyed it. One thing is for sure — most people feel that the loss of that knowledge created a major setback for civilization.
JFK’s Assassination
John F. Kennedy hadn’t been in office long when he chose to travel to Dallas. On November 22nd, 1963, as the president drove through the streets of this iconic Texas town, gunshots rang out.

The governor that rode with him was injured, and the president had been assassinated. There’s no mystery there, but when it comes to who actually shot him, there is. Many conspiracy theorists believe that the accused, Lee Harvey Oswald, either wasn’t the shooter or did not act alone. The mystery remains and perhaps will never know who killed JFK.
The Voynich Manuscript
In 1912, a document appeared, gaining a pretty significant amount of attention because of its unidentified language. The Voynich manuscript seems to have been written in the 15th or 16th century and has six basic sections.

Since its appearance in 1912, historians and other people who love a good mystery have been trying to decipher the mystery of the language and what information is contained within the fragile binding of this book.
The Amber Room
In the 18th century, among the chambers within the Berlin city palace, sits a room that had been dubbed the eighth wonder of the world. The amber room was designed with gold and amber panels and outfitted with other fine gems and artistry.

When World War II began, the Nazi forces looted the room and sent the panels to Konigsberg to be placed in the castle museum. However, the museum was bombed, and since then, the panels of the amber room have not been seen. No one knows if they were destroyed or if someone stole them.
The Sea People
In many Egyptian stories and tablets, there’s mention of a people only called the sea peoples. The texts have them moving throughout the Mediterranean in the early 2nd century.

These nautical marauders are said to have caused chaos for nations like Egypt and Anatolia. They were even rumored to be the people who ended the Hittite Empire. Though they had a marked influence on history and empires, no one has ever figured out where exactly these people originated from.
Genghis Khan’s Tomb
Genghis Khan is perhaps the most illustrious emperor of all time. His empire is the largest empire that has ever existed. But in 1227, the mighty warrior died while on a campaign. Unlike other emperors of the time, though, the funeral was not as illustrious.

In fact, no one knows where Genghis Khan was actually buried, and this was all his own doing. Legend says that the mighty one ordered that if he was buried, anybody who took part in his funeral procession would be killed so that no one could find his resting place. So, to this very day, no one is sure where Genghis Khan’s tomb actually lies.
Jimmy Hoffa
Many people have an interest in mafia history. For those who are into this, a few names really spark a lot of curiosity. One of those happens to be the Teamster Union Leader Jimmy Hoffa and his disappearance.

Due to Hoffa’s involvement with the mob, his disappearance may not be that much of a surprise. However, the fact that no one has ever found the body or been arrested for his murder leaves it as a mystery that just may never be solved.
Cleopatra’s Tomb
Cleopatra is one of the most well-known Egyptian rulers in history. Being born into the Ptolemaic line, Cleopatra used her beauty and brains to find her way to power. Along the way, she became the love interest of both Julius Caesar and Marc Antony.

Because of this, she eventually would, according to legend, take her own life using the poison of the Egyptian asp. Where this iconic Egyptian ruler is buried, though, is still a mystery. Though many archaeologists search for the location, none have quite found it yet.
Oak Island
If you’ve ever turned on The History Channel in the US, you have probably seen commercials or parts of a show covering the mysterious treasure of Oak Island.

For over two centuries, there have been rumors of a treasure buried by the illustrious captain William Kidd. Though there are tons of clues and stories to go with this mystery, no one has been able to decipher it or find the treasure.
Copper Scroll Treasure
In 1952 at Qumran, there was an extraordinary archaeological find. Though at this archaeological site everybody focuses on the Dead Sea Scrolls, there was another treasure found amongst them.

The copper scroll was found in the cave and tells of a vast treasure of gold and silver. Many have tried to decipher and find where this treasure was hidden, but no one has yet to stumble across its location.
The Ark of the Covenant
The Ark of the Covenant has been the subject of not only legend but movies and books. King Nebuchadnezzar II attacked Jerusalem in 587 BCE. In doing this, he destroyed the first temple where the Ark of the Covenant was housed.

Though there are many stories about the Ark of the Covenant, no one is certain what happened to it after the Babylonian army conquered Jerusalem.
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Most of us have heard of the Seven Wonders of the World. Though most of them are no longer standing, they still capture our imaginations. Of these wonders, the Hanging Gardens in the ancient city of Babylon may well be the one that captivates our imagination the most.

Though the site has never been found, there are several accounts throughout the history of these illustrious hanging gardens. Even with these accounts, archaeologists are still on the hunt to solve the mystery of where this magical place was.
Atlantis
In the 4th century, Plato told of an amazing land called Atlantis. In his tale, this island floated through the Atlantic Ocean, and the people that inhabited it had conquered much of the known world.

Though there’s no definitive proof that Atlantis ever existed, there are plenty of theories on who these Atlanteans actually were. Despite these theories, Atlantis still sits heavily in the imagination of many who love a good mystery.
D.B. Cooper
In this modern age of GPS and advanced technology, it’s hard to believe that there was a time when someone could actually get away with a hijacking and robbery without getting caught. But, it happened in 1971.

Dan Cooper sat in a chair on Northwest Airlines flight 305. During the flight, he handed the flight attendant a note, and from there, the hijacking and robbery began. By the time all was said and done, D.B. Cooper, as he would come to be known, had gotten away with $200,000. The illustrious criminal’s real identity and whereabouts still remain a mystery.
Tunguska Blast
In 1908, in the middle of summer, a large swath of forested land in Siberia was laid to waste by an unknown explosion. The Tunguska event was not witnessed by anyone, and there was no evidence of an explosion.

Most feel that an impact from a meteor probably caused this. There were no witnesses, and therefore, the truth behind this unexplained blast remains a mystery.
The Sodder Children
On Christmas Eve of 1945 in Fayetteville, West Virginia, a fire broke out in a local family home. The parents and several of the children escaped with very little harm. When the fire department arrived, the parents and children were distraught over the fact that five members of their family were still in the building.

But, when the fire department went through the burned wreckage, there were no bodies found inside of the rubble. After a while, the parents believed that maybe they had been kidnapped and hired private detectives and offered rewards for the return of their children. But, to this very day, no one knows what happened to the Sodder children.
The Bermuda Triangle
There are just some places in the world that elicit mystery. One of the biggest of these happens to be a triangular section of the Atlantic Ocean that some call the Devil’s Triangle, but most know it as the Bermuda Triangle.

Over the past 500 years, airplanes and ships have been lost and never to be seen again. There have also been radio communications from some of these that have been quite mysterious. Because of the unknown and unfound vessels, there are many theories on what exactly this mystery is all about.
Mohenjo Daro
Many cities rise and fall due to political people and wars. However, some cities, like the UNESCO World Heritage site Mohenjo Daro, rise and then mysteriously disappear. This site is the home of an ancient civilization that thrived 4500 years ago.

The city lay unknown until 1911 when archaeologists first stumbled across it. The city had advanced drainage systems and unique grid-style construction that was not known at that particular time in human history. Because of this, mysteries abound about its construction and the people that live there.
The Collapse of the Bronze Age
The delineation between the late Bronze Age and the Dark Ages often leaves historians with a bit of a mystery to be solved. In 1200 BC or around there, the entire eastern Mediterranean and Aegean region of the world suddenly erupted into violence, and many of the great cities and empires there collapsed.

Most historians have theories about this being caused by foreign invasion or even issues with international trade. Nothing is for sure, and so this major historical event remains a mystery.
Antikythera Mechanism
In 1959, a science historian from Princeton University was diving off the coast of the Greek island of Antikythera. There he found the wreckage of a 2000-year-old ship and in it a unique object. In this wreckage, there was a device designed to predict eclipses and astronomical positions.

This ancient device is known as the Antikythera mechanism; it’s almost like an ancient computer. Because of its advanced technology, mysteries abound about who was able to produce this type of technology when it would have been invented in the 14th century.
The Dancing Plague
In the 15th and 16th century medicine hadn’t quite reached its peak yet, and so, unfortunately, many plagues took hold throughout Europe. Though the bulk of these was not mysterious, there was one specific plague that took place in Strasbourg that still has people puzzled to this very day.

In July of 1518, a woman began dancing in the street uncontrollably. Eventually, she was joined by more of the citizens, and within a month, over 400 people were dancing through the city nonstop. Why this occurred, no one knows, but there are many theories — including mass hysteria and ergot poisoning.
40+ Impressive Photos From Gardens We Are Surprised to See
Nature can be beautiful, and that may be why so many people take on gardening as a hobby (some even do it as a career). Here are a few impressive photos that just might give you some inspiration.
Wedding Gift
Finding a way to connect with the older generations of your family can be challenging. This woman seems to have found a way, though. Not only are the two embroiled in a game of Words With Friends, but they also share a love of gardening. Hence this cool wedding gift.

Stunning Beauty
Getting a little fresh air every day is important for a person’s sanity. That may mean a simple walk around your neighborhood, or it could be getting outdoors for some physical activity like hitting the basketball courts.

This person chose to do a quick walk around their neighborhood and was met by this stunning camellia that stopped them in their tracks. Even on a simple walk like this, nature can captivate us!
That’s Amazing
There are some people that are just gifted when it comes to gardening. We all know one of those folks that seem to be able to make any plant thrive no matter what they do. This woman certainly looks like she has this superpower.

Being able to cultivate that large of a rhododendron plant is something not everyone can do. Just look at the size of the plant in relation to the gardener. Amazing!
Getting to the Root
When you’re growing vegetables and other foods, you’ll occasionally need to harvest them. When you do this, you might just find a whole world of cuteness, as this gardener did. We wouldn’t even be upset that the tomatoes were not growing the way we wanted.

Apparently, a momma bunny had thought that this little hole in the ground was the perfect place to set up a house. Then, she went ahead and gave birth to some adorable little ones!
Wow!
When you’re on the hunt for a new house, you may find yourself in tons of new neighborhoods. Sometimes, you also find fairytale properties such as this one. Isn’t it enchanting, not to mention charming?

This beautiful home has a stunning garden that’s clearly well taken care of. Who wouldn’t be just a little impressed if they drove past this house?
Environmental Engineer?
One of the best ways to have a memorable garden or landscaped front yard is to consider your environment. This means that if you live someplace that’s super rainy, then you might want to do something like this person has done here.

Utilizing the rain that drains through the pipes, they were able to create this stunning yard — and makeshift river of sorts. How clever is this person? We’re sure they’re some sort of engineer when they’re not tending to their garden.
Before and After
Sometimes, all a person needs is a blank slate to test out their gardening skills. However, along with that blank slate, it’s also good if the person has a little patience as well. This person took their time. Eventually, after five years, they were able to cultivate quite the garden.

It’s amazing how a little love and care can actually make a house look completely different. This is quite the adorable little home now, and we’re sure they’re the envy of their neighbors.
Too Cold
Unfortunately, for those that live in places that have extended periods of cold weather or winter, many people think gardening is not a great hobby to pick up. However, if you’re like this woman’s mother — who lives in Denmark — you take the challenge anyway.

Taking on this task just means you have to get a little creative and do some indoor gardening. If you do, you might wind up with an orangery like this.
Harvest Time
There are a lot of communities that take pride in their gardens. They put a lot of work into them in hopes they have a good harvest that can be shared amongst the families of that community. Take, for instance, this community within the Navajo Nation.

They were so proud of their harvest that they wanted to share it with everyone. Of course, now that’s a lot easier — all you have to do is take a pic and post it on social media. This selection is stunning!
Protect the Plant
There are some plants that have to be taken care of more than others. These plants are often susceptible to the elements and apparently, this grandpa thought that was his bean plant.

So, he crafted this gorgeous teepee of wildflowers to protect it. He was so proud of it that he had to have his grandchild share it with all of us. How cute is that?!
Punny!
More and more people are beginning to understand the importance of trees nowadays. Although we’ve all known about it for decades, it seems that protecting trees has become a bigger deal in recent years (it took us long enough!). This office building certainly thinks so.

It’s either that, or the gardener is trying to get their message across with just a little humor. Either way, we love this sign and its witty gardening puns! We hope that people got the message.
Unique Coloring
There are certain flowers that are well known for a specific color, but that come in a wide range of variations. That’s why when you get one and it’s your first time gardening, you can be a little awe-struck! This gardener is experiencing that in this image.

We can completely understand why she would want to have these to look at all year round. They’re stunning and super unique!
Rooftop Garden
In many major metropolitan areas across the globe, people are turning rooftops into gardens. This is great for them as well as the environment, so we’re behind this gardening trend all the way. This gentleman gardener wanted to be a little more exotic, though.

So, he started growing dragon fruit plants on the roof. Now, he has a harvest of them and looks like he’s unsure of what to do with them. We think he should create gift baskets and share them with all his neighbors!
Just a Little Hideaway
When one moves into a new home, it’s understandable that they would want to make it their own. This can mean renovating the interior or starting a few projects outside. This couple opted to make a little secluded sitting area for themselves.

It may have taken a few years to complete, but it definitely looks like the work was worth it. Now, they have someplace to sit on those nice summer evenings.
Look at It!
The trick to being successful with gardening is to have patience and to celebrate wins. This grandpa is so darn proud of himself and what he has done with this tree. It’s well worth documenting and maybe sharing it with everyone.

It looks like he might be a little surprised, but as he said, he wanted to get the word out to prove that you can do anything you put your mind to!
Pride and Hydrangeas
It seems that a lot of gardeners tend to fall within the older age bracket. Sometimes, gardeners are prouder of their green masterpieces than they are of their other life accomplishments. For instance, this grandma looks like she wanted a picture taken of her hydrangea bush before her grandkids could even come into the house.

We can totally understand because this bush is stunning. Why wouldn’t she want the grandkid to snap a pic and share it with everyone online?
Look What I Found
Every now and then, to keep plants strong and healthy, flowers and bushes have to be trimmed. When you do this, sometimes you will find the craziest things tucked within the branches or leaves.

This person found a robin’s nest in their rosebush and it instantly made them think of Easter. It looks like they’ll have to be careful how much they trim — at least for the time being!
Stop and Smell the Rose(s)
Many popular flowers have a wide range of colors that happen naturally. Even with all those different colors, gardeners throughout the years have decided they wanted to add to that variety by cross-breeding.

This multi-colored rose is one of the results of that devotion to gardening. We’re certainly glad someone did all that work because this is beautiful! Don’t you think it’s beautiful?
What a View!
Sometimes, it’s not so much about the garden but rather the view it affords the gardener. This person has a magnificent view from their sewing room. Not only do they have plenty of sunlight, but also a view that even Van Gogh would be impressed with.

We can imagine how when the work gets frustrating or hard, all they have to do is look out the window. This view of a sunflower field probably relaxes them immediately, so they can get back to work refreshed.
Making a Mark
Gardeners are privy to information that those who haven’t picked up a trowel don’t know. For instance, apparently, if you scar a pumpkin during the early stages of its growth, it will do something like this.

This could be kind of cool if you do it to a few of them as a means to advertise your pumpkin patch — especially if you’re super artistic and talented! If you’re not, maybe steer clear of this little trick… ha!
Starting Young
It could be a great idea to get the kids involved in your gardening projects. After all, it will teach them patience — plus it’ll teach them the idea of providing for themselves. This parent did that, and it seems that someone is very proud of themselves.

This kid is just three years old and already has quite the harvest under her belt. From start to finish, this is the result of hard work, and that’s pretty cool.
Coachella Inspiration
If you look at your Instagram feed, it’s very easy to tell when Coachella season is near. You will find tons of images of women wearing flower crowns and bohemian-style clothing. Although that may be cool, it’s not as beautiful as these flower crowns.

These cacti are trying to show the world that they can be just as pretty as those other flowers. We think they’re getting their point across perfectly, don’t you?
A Pop of Color
This gardener stood at an overlook and asked themselves how they could make the view even more spectacular. Apparently, the answer was to run these roses along the railing. They then tended to the flowers for seven years — and this is the result that they got.

We think they were right to make that choice. These rose bushes seem to be thriving pretty well, and definitely make a visual impact!
Everyone Needs a Happy Place
The trick to maintaining your sanity is to find a place where you feel at peace and filled with happiness. There are those that feel this way when they’re near the ocean or in the mountains, but for this gardener, it’s all about the greenery around them.

Looking at this tranquil and beautiful locale, we can understand why. They clearly have worked hard to cultivate their space very carefully.
First Try
Sometimes, new gardeners can be a little shy when it comes to sharing their process. For those that have to start with an indoor garden, they may be even shyer. Hopefully, they have a supportive significant other like this girl.

This woman’s partner wanted to show everyone how proud they were of their girl, so they snapped a picture of the house terrarium and shared it with the internet.
Small But Cozy
There are a lot of older cities across the globe that have houses with relatively small backyards. When that home is your brand new one, you see the potential where no one else does. This person did just so and started building the dream backyard they wanted.

Sure — it may have taken a bit of cleaning up and a lot of hard work, but we’re sure this gardener is super happy with the results. After all, now they have a place to chill after a hard day at work.
It’s All Mine
Losing your family’s land can be a tragic event in someone’s life. This is especially true if that land has been in the family for decades. So, we can understand why this gardener is super excited to share the fruits of their labor.

After fighting in the courts, this guy got the rights back to his family’s land. Then, he set about making his family proud by revitalizing it. Congratulations!
Too Much Beauty
It’s pretty nerve-racking to meet your partner’s parents for the first time. However, having that meeting in a garden like this might make things a bit easier. This is such a majestic place — so majestic that how could there be any tension here?

The OP’s boyfriend grew up with the ultimate greenskeeper for a mother. Even if the relationship doesn’t work out, the OP should definitely make friends with mom so they can chill here when needed.
Dad’s Pride and Joy
We all hope that when our dad talks about his pride and joy, he’s doing so in reference to us. Unfortunately, this person’s dad is probably not talking about them, but rather his magnificent garden. We can’t really blame him, though.

Having a stunningly beautiful garden like this — that’s perfectly landscaped — is quite an accomplishment. Even more impressive is that he was 74 years old when he did it. You go, Dad!
Finally, Did It!
There are some plants out there that are super finicky. They need just the right light, the perfect temperature, and a whole slew of climate considerations just to survive. When taking one of these on, you definitely need some of that patience.

This person wanted a passionflower so badly that they didn’t care about how long it would take! We applaud them — we don’t think we could have waited two years for this!
Keeping the Past Alive
Over the centuries, there have been countless varieties of plants that have been forgotten or gone extinct. There are some gardeners that look for these and try to save them. This gentleman’s chosen heritage plant is apple trees.

All he wants is to make sure that these poor apple variations are not forgotten. That’s kind of cool, but probably pretty time-consuming. Someone’s gotta do it, though, right?
Lemonade, Anyone?
Having a lemon tree in your backyard can be pretty helpful. Not only will you have shade and a backyard filled with a citrusy scent, but you’ll also be set for quite some time. That being said, we don’t think anyone needs this many lemons.

This tree is clearly being taken care of well, otherwise, it wouldn’t be bearing so much fruit. It may be time to think about gift baskets!
Just a Little Corner
For those that have a bit of a green thumb, one challenge to overcome is when you don’t have access to a gardening area. Especially for those living in small apartments, this is a big hurdle to get past. This person seems to have managed well, though!

After finding a portion of their apartment that has good exposure to the sun, they quickly set up their own little greenhouse. This is pretty cool, don’t you think?
Grandpa Aced It
Sure — gardens are beautiful to walk through. It’s especially nice to relax in a garden with a hot cup of coffee or tea. However, if you really want to get a good look, try getting up high as this person did.

They wanted to show everyone what their grandpa did, and all we have to say is wow! This is super impressive, and it looks like grandpa isn’t quite done yet!
Simplicity
Having an elaborate garden is great. If you have the space and the time, you will be able to cultivate a whole bunch of beauty. However, for those that may not have the time, simplicity is okay, too!

This person chose a simple flower box around their porch railing, and it’s quite stunning! In fact, it’s just as pretty as some of those more elaborate gardens. Good job!
Mystery Solved
For those gardeners that are gifted in this area, when a plant doesn’t do well, it’s almost like an episode of CSI to figure out why. They test everything including the soil and read up on the disease. Although, sometimes the culprit is something less nefarious.

Maybe their planter is just super comfortable, and the neighborhood stray animals think it’s a bed. That’s what this person realized happened when their strawberry plants weren’t doing well.
Look Ma!
Like with any first attempt at something, one wants to share the results with the people they love. When that first attempt is growing some vegetables, there will be many pictures of the gardener holding whatever random food has chosen to grow well.

This dad is super proud of his tomato and wanted to share it with everyone in the family group chat. We don’t know how many of them appreciated it, but that’s a good-looking tomato, sir!
A Little Imagination
Looking out into a backyard that has nothing in it can sometimes spur one’s imagination. If that person is a gardener, then you may end up with something like this. It could be worse, right? This looks pretty darn good to us.

This person wanted to make sure they had a place for their pups, and were still able to grow a little of the veggies and herbs they use regularly.
Starting Off Small
Trying to grow things is a learning process. You will have some wins and you’ll have some losses. Maybe at first, you’ll learn much more from the losses, but all you have to do is stick with it! That being said, if this was our first haul, we might wonder if we should go on.

This person tried, and it wasn’t a complete failure. They just came up a bit short when the harvest season was said and done. Keep trying, though — you did better than we would have!
Not All It’s Cracked Up to Be
When you’re dealing with flowering plants of any type, you rely on bees to pollinate them. However, you can’t order those bees to pollinate certain things and not others. Thus, you might wind up with something like this.

This person was growing watermelons, and one of the ones that got pollinated chose a different path. Instead of growing like the others, it crawled up into the wall and started to grow there. That’s gonna be hard to harvest!
Someone Has Skills
Maybe you’re thinking of getting started with gardening, and you want some encouragement. Take a look at these sunflowers that this new gardener cultivated. If she can do it, you can too. Right?

She must have been very dedicated because those are some huge sunflowers. We think she should write some sort of gardening blog and share her tricks with the world! She could probably help a lot of people.
This Is the One
When they’re proud of their harvest, many gardeners know exactly what they want to do with it. For those growing food, they may even know which item they want to eat first.

This grandpa certainly does, and he’s ready for everyone to taste his cantaloupes! In fact, he’s so ready that he wanted to take a selfie with his melons before anyone began harvesting them.
Support Is Important
There are many ways to grow things, and some gardeners prefer crawling vines. However, this often leaves things like watermelons floating in the air without any support. This could, in turn, lead to the loss of watermelons from falling off the vine.

So, this gardener thought they would use what they had on hand. What else is better for support than their wife’s bras?! We just hope they asked first, otherwise, this could be a problem later!
Urban Landscaping
When you think of places that guys want to crawl into and relax, most of us automatically go to the idea of a man cave, but not all guys are like that. Take, for instance, this one that just wants a nice garden with a good view.

He wanted that so much that he didn’t let the fact that he lives in an apartment deter him. We think this is a pretty cool chill-out spot for anyone!
Circle Around
Just like with anything, if you want a nice manicured garden you will have to plan it all out. When you first lay it out, it may not look like much, though.

Give it time, and eventually, you will see your vision come to life. This gardener did that, and now they have this adorable little garden that they can look out and enjoy anytime they want to!
