Camilla Parker Bowles Dedicates A Reading List to Prince Philip
By Susie Greene -
Recently, Camilla Parker Bowles reminded the royal fans of one of the lesser-known passions of the late Prince Philip – reading. She paid her tribute by dedicating the new reading list of her book club to the Prince. Apparently, the Duchess of Cornwall chose four different books to make sure everyone could find something appealing to read.
According to Camilla, Reading Was One of Prince Philip’s Favorite Pastimes

The four novels dedicated to her late father-in-law are also supposed to kick off the second season of her online book club. It launched earlier this year. Other news that surfaced surrounding the royal family has suggested that Prince Harry wrote a deeply personal note to Prince Charles that was supposed to set things straight before the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.
The Literary Lineup Was Hand-Picked By Camilla
Camilla selected the books personally, and the lineup includes Girl by Edna O’Brien, The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurain, and A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles. The series headliner is The Secret Commonwealth from the Book of Dust by Philip Pullman, the author of the trilogy His Dark Materials. Reportedly, Camilla is excited to share her love for Pullman’s work with her fellow bookworms. She said she had enjoyed every book that Philip Pullman has written. The duchess also said that the author himself would soon share some insights with the book club.
Camilla Parker Bowles Dedicates A Reading List to Prince PhilipSince Camilla started her own Reading Room this January, she has welcomed over 100,000 members into her free online community. The free reading room project is also the first-ever royal book club, and it created a space for people who share a common love for reading to connect with the Duchess of Cornwall and one another over their shared enthusiasm for fiction. Participants in the group are looking forward to finding novel recommendations, plenty of book-themed chatter, and interviews with different authors.
